          And had a much better relation to capital.  Except maybe Chico. Film Studies at this level involves getting to grips with how
          moving pictures use codes and conventions to create meanings. 
          The three modules comprise study of editing techniques and camera
          work; genre, character and story structure; and the marketing and
          consumption of movies.  You will also have the opportunity to
          study some British films in detail and the contexts in which they were
          made.
 The course comprises three
          pieces of coursework (FS1) and two exams, each requiring two essay
          questions (FS2 & FS3).     |
